There are five moments in which we should take care in hand hygiene to prevent intrahospital infections:

    1. Before touching a patient.
    2. Before clean/aseptic procedure (placing cannula, taking blood samples, dis-connecting infusion and other).
    3. After body fluid exposure risk.
    4. After touching a patient.
    5. After touching patient surroundings.

Surgical site infections can prolong patient hospitalization from 3 to 20 days, which in turn has increase in costs and decrease in patient comfort during hospital treatment, and also can lead to complications.

Therefore, SEE YOUR HANDS and contribute in decrease on intrahospital infections.
